Januario Jano

Januario Jano [b.1979, Angola] is an interdisciplinary visual artist working across sculpture, video, photography, textiles, sound installation and performance. His work is included in important public and private collections and his practice reflects on the delicate balance between fiction and reality. His cultural and social commitment led him to found Pés Descalços, a cultural and philanthropic collective focused on the development and promotion of artistic and cultural projects in Angola.
