Edward belongs to the famous generation of Dutch designers who have caused an international stir. 

Van Vliet translates his creativity and experience into unique interior design projects in which he combines the three-dimensionality of the product with the two-dimensionality of prints in a combination of fabrics and colours.

What characterises the uniqueness of his designs is in fact that mix of quality workmanship combined with Middle Eastern influences, with elements inspired by Africa and Asia.

Before opening his own studio in 1990, Vliet studied Architectural Design, Interior and Industrial Design at the Eindhoven Design Academy and the HKU School of Arts. 

Studio Edward Van Vliet focuses mainly on the hospitality sector, offices, private homes and public spaces.
