Ornella
Vanoni

Ornella Vanoni is one of Italy's best-known singers, art lover, collector, thanks to a key encounter with Arnaldo Pomodoro.

Ornella Vanoni is one of the most iconic and admired singers in Italian music, with a very long career.

Born in Milan in 1934, Ornella Vanoni is famous for her sophisticated voice with an unmistakable timbre, appreciated by entire generations. With a repertoire that includes classics such as 'L'Appuntamento' and 'Senza Fine', she has influenced and inspired generations of artists to this day. She is known as one of the Italian artists with the longest career, studded with successes, awards and accolades that celebrate her invaluable contribution to Italian musical culture.

She is not only a diva of Italian music, but also a great art lover and collector. It all started with her meeting with the famous Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, who imagined the entire stage set for Ornella Vanoni's 'O' tour in 1987.

Ornella Vanoni thus started an art collection that has been enriched with prestigious works over time, ranging from modern to contemporary artists. Her collection reflects her commitment to the appreciation and promotion of art, including works by both well-known and emerging artists.

Vanoni's love for art is also demonstrated by her participation in various cultural events and exhibitions where she often promotes artistic and cultural initiatives. Among the latest there was her presence at the opening of the second edition of ''Orizzonte. Words, images and music to build the future” at the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation. All this over the years has made her an influential figure even outside the world of music.
