Eliel David Pérez Martínez (b.1998, Mexico) lives and works between Mexico and Italy. He completed his university studies in Venice, where he earned a master’s degree from the Academy of Fine Arts. Eliel David Pérez Martínez's practice is based on the use of painting and fabric, employed both in two-dimensional form and in sculptural mode. The recurring themes of his research relate to his personal experience, the cultural experiences of Mexico, and social critique, which arises from the analysis of cultural, anthropological, and economic factors.
